I agree with every word of this Pat Borzi piece about the Twins. They just plain have too many players who suck, and that's why they didn't get further than they did.
Posted by Stephen Silver at October 13, 2009 05:04 PMI've been saying that (and obviously so have others) for years: we have 4-5 really good, above-average players, and then 4-5 who just can't hit - there is little middle ground. Replace the crappy ones with even league average ones, and maybe we don't get swept in the first round so often.
