Comments: Getting Shot Means Never Having To Say You're Sorry

2 salient features:

1. The pic of Harry Whittington. He looks for all the world like the classic horror movie zombie.

2. This quote, from (naturally) a Cheney supporter:

"If you go duck hunting out here, you're bound to get shot sometime."

I guess that's right up there with "If you print a cartoon of Muhammad, you're bound to get shot sometime," or "If you try to get an abortion, you're bound to get shot sometime."

Finally this whole fiasco evokes Chris Rock's classic routine: "Bullets should cost $5000 a piece. Because if bullets cost $5000 a piece, there would be no more innocent bystanders."

Well, in the spirit of the U.S. government wishing to fine the makers of pseudoephedrine for the expenses of cleaning up meth labs...

I believe that we should fine the Sierra Club for Whittington's hosptial bill. I mean if we'd already ridded this world of quail we wouldn't have to go out and shoot them ourselves.

Is Harry Whittington the anti-Brasky?

Er... well, no it isn't. Not unless you draw pictures and give abortions with a shotgun. (And if ya do, I think me and the lil' missus'll go elsewhere!)
