MUSIC CRITIC QUOTE OF THE

MUSIC CRITIC QUOTE OF THE DAY: "The chart sensations of the past few years- 50 Cent's thugged-out hip-hop, Linkin Park's droning rap-metal, Norah Jones' pre-Beatles balladry- owe about as much to 'Rubber Soul' as they do to 'Rubber Duckie."- a piece in Entertainment Weekly asking whether or not the Beatles are still relevant; despite the one-liner, EW seems to conclude that they are indeed, mostly because many members of the current generation of teenagers have, like I did in high school, discovered the Beatles' music and come to realize how much better it is than most of the crap on the radio.
