DON'T HAVE A COW: The first American case of mad cow disease has been discovered in rural Washington state. The case was isolated and is thought not to endanger humans or our meat supply. Still though- I keep hearing about how the beef industry has been doing great- and the bread/grain industry not so great- 'cause of this whole Atkins diet craze; maybe the mad cow thing will cause enough panic to reverse the trend.
