IF YOU'VE GOT MONEY, AND

IF YOU'VE GOT MONEY, AND YOU DON'T WANT IT TO BE STOLEN- HIDE IT IN YOUR BOOKS: Twins utility infielder Denny Hocking is quoted in today's Star Tribune as saying that he's reading David Wells' autobiography, "Perfect I'm Not"- and claims that it's the first book he's read from cover to cover in his life.
Hocking is 32 years old, is in his 11th major league season, and has even been the Twins' players' union representative for the last few years. He graduated from high school and attended California's El Camino Community College- and in all that time he's never read a book?
But it's appropriate that the first book he chose was the one by Wells. Because prior to writing it, I can't imagine Wells had ever read a book either.
