BIG, BIG TEN: A student at Purdue University made national news this week after having a letter published in the school newspaper where he complains that women at the Indiana college are too fat. The letter from sophomore Josh Brown was published in The Exponent on Monday, leading to the predictable campus unrest and even a spirited defense by the paper's editor in today's edition of the paper. "Sure I'm insensitive," Brown wrote, "but you're fat."
A man who apparently does not share the affinity for curvy, corn-fed midwestern women professed by myself and Larry Eustachy, Brown is lucky that he goes to a relatively level-headed midwestern university; otherwise, he'd have to worry about getting his ass speech-coded right out of school.
