Auld Lang Syne

I was walking through Times Square last night and I started thinking "this is weird- why is it so much more crowded here than usual?" Then I remembered- oh yea, this is where they drop the ball on New Years' Eve.

So I guess I'm a real New Yorker now- for the first 20 years of my life that was the only thing I associated with Times Square. Now, it's just "that area between my office and my gym."

Happy new year everybody, and thank you so much for reading me this year.

I hear ya... when I moved to Chicago last year Wrigley Field was my most holiest of places. Then it became something I could see out of my window. Now (since I've moved yet again), it's the place I walk by on the way to work. It doesn't make it any less awesome, but it's different when you see it everyday.

Just wanted to say that I'm glad to find you--clicked over from Michael Totten's site. I'll be checking back in.

Happy New Year to you, Steve.

If the Vikes rid themselves of Mike Tice (even though they just extended his contract another year), you guys might cath my Packers sooner rather than later.

That team will never win big with Tice. They might make the playoffs yet this year, but they won't go far.

Then again, if the Packer DB's don't improve, both teams will be watching the final rounds from home!
