I've never had to do this before, but due to a week-old flamewar among three commenters, I've decided to close comments on the "Fire Nancy Grace" post below. This happened because for some reason, this blog comes up #3 on Google in a search for the phrase "Fire Nancy Grace," behind only two different versions of FireNancyGrace.com.
For the record, I agree with the commenters who think Nancy sucks, and disagree with those who say she doesn't. We've seen her, this week, continue to flog the Duckett case, even though her commentary has become deeply compromised after she inserted herself into the story- by possibly causing the suicide of one of the participants.

Nancy documented herself to be totally un-professional and un-informed to the real facts concerning the Duckett case. As well as Nancy being incorrect on the Karr case also. It is too bad that Nancy Grace may have been a contributing factor in the alleged suicide of MELINDA DUCKETT. Melinda’s grandparents believe there IS a connection of the death to Nancy Grace. Maybe if Nancy did not provoke Melinda in committing suicide, maybe Trenton would be safe right now. Nancy should really stop victimizing the victims. The same holds true for most cases Nancy covers; the Duckett case, the John Mark Karr case, the list is actually endless with Nancy being so incorrect on so many matters of so many cases. There remains an audience of un-informed viewers out there that do not have enough ‘self-motivation’ or knowledge to verify just how un-informed they really are. And, those people are also victims of Nancy Grace. It like watching a slow-motion-train-wreck in action. Thanks again for your efforts to end that post category. There is only so much help you can offer to those that are so content in remaining un-informed to the real facts about Nancy Grace. Thanks again.

Nancy is almost always wrong on something on almost every single case Nancy attempts to cover on her show, but it appears now that even the prosecutor in that Karr case really screwed up, as well as Nancy. Apparently, the prosecution lost the evidence against Karr in their latest attempt to charge Karr in California with more charges, and they offered Karr a ‘slap-on-the-wrist’ if Karr pleads guilty to some frivolous charge(s). According to this agreement, if Karr accepts, he will be credited with time-served and will be released immediately and only be on probation for three years. Maybe Karr can be a guest on Nancy’s show, and he will surely drive Nancy completely ‘bonkers.’ Who knows, maybe Karr will victimize Nancy like Nancy victimized Melinda Duckett. Nancy can never appear on CNN “on-air” (as of February 2006) without at least one of her mandated CNN Psychologists on-site because of Nancy’s previous “debacles.” So, who knows, maybe Nancy might catch another stay for herself in her Psych-Ward again in Texas after Karr appears on her show and blasts Nancy. As the old saying goes, ‘what goes around, comes around.’ Sounds like it’s a-coming quick for Nancy now. Nancy should know better than to continue to victimize the victims out there. But, she was never a victim of any crime herself, so she has a severe deficit in that area. Nancy is clue-less. Poor Nancy.
