Indy Film

Steven Spielberg will finally direct the long-awaited fourth "Indiana Jones" film, for release in 2008.

Is this a good idea? Who knows? Ford is really, really old, and it's been a very long time since the last film (I was in 5th grade, I believe.) But on the other hand, Spielberg can do wonders, and if the last few years have taught us anything, it's that franchises can be "re-booted" (Batman, Superman, Rocky, James Bond, etc.) with great success.

How can the Ford/Spielberg combo don any wrong? I ask you.

So wrong! We all know you worship Spielberg. Unless Harrison Ford is in a Sean Connery like role for this film, I guarantee it will SUCK.

I'm with A on this one. I own the three original films and can't see how the franchise will benefit from another episode.

The last one with Connery playing the dad was my favorite of the three. They should have left it at that.

Unless they hire a new stud to carry on the Indiana Jones tradition -- Indy passing the torch to the new generation. Harrison Ford is just too old to reprise this role.
