apropos of nothing other than the mention of "Uncle Tom" ... apparently the "T." in T. Milton Street is for Thomas. But he claims that when his brothers started having children, he changed his name to Milton so that his nephews wouldn't call him Uncle Tom. Instead, he's Uncle Milton, easily confused with a (presumably) bigger-cocked Uncle Milton, the late Milton Berle.
