News Item: Fred Thompson may run for the White House
You know, I always hoped the first president to come out of the "Law & Order" cast would be Steven Hill. He has a lot more gravitas than Fred.

But of course, Thompson's fame comes from his acting but his qualifications are actually more serious. It'll be interesting see how this throws the rest of the campaigns, and regardless of who the nominee is, I could see Thompson as a potential VP nod, or AG.
