Charles Ramsey vs. Assault Weapons

My money's on the Philly police commissioner, especially after this exchange:

By the way, I feel like an idiot now. The one question I asked Mayor Nutter after the presidential debate, after Hillary talked in the debate about assault weapons, was... how many of the murders in Philadelphia last year were committed with assault weapons? Less than a month later, a Philly police officer is killed by... an assault weapon. ADD IT TO THE FRIGGIN' LIST!

Yeah, because gun control will stop criminal from getting firearms. No it won't.

It is precisely this type of bravado that forces legal gun owners to continue their fight against BS gun control that solves no problems. The gun WASNT on the list, that's why they probably got it in the first place. If you put it on the "FRIGGIN'" list, they will choose another gun. So, how many guns do you put on the "FRIGGIN'" list? All of them, right? And that's the reason we continue the fight, because we know what the ultimate intention happens to be. We have a constitutional right to own arms whether you and the Commissioner likes it or not...I don't like Roe v. Wade, but I won't advocate illegal methods to change it.
How about addressing the prior records of these animals? Should any of them have been out among us in the first place? It is the bleeding heart that ignores evil, and shields the evil from their punishment. Now that these animals are cop killers, the DA might push harder to keep them in the dark, but killing regular people is ok. Parole? Halfway houses? For people convicted of violent crimes? I think that somebody should arrange a meeting between the Liczbinski family and the people in the CJ system that let these animals walk. Televise that....

This press conference, if it weren't so tragic, would fall in the category of Dennis Green.
