On the Roy Williams Dilemma

Paul Lukas fills us in on every historical instance of two players with the same name being on the same team at the same time, and how the teams have handled the uniform question. Of course, none of them went with the Cowboys' solution- break the forearm of one of the two Roy Williamses.

Back when the Mets had the two Bobby Joneses (who were both pitchers), various media outlets would refer to them as Bobby M. Jones and Bobby J. Jones, or even occasionally lefty Bobby Jones and righty Bobby Jones. Mets fans simply called them White Bobby Jones and Black Bobby Jones.
