Jon Stewart mocks this "only areas that support us are really America" nonsense coming from the McCain campaign.
Call liberals elitists, but at least we don't ever claim we're more American than our opponents.

I hate the elitist argument. We're all elitists. I want the best mechanic, live in the best neighborhood, drive the best car, have the smartest kids.
I feel like the GOP resents that we're not the "common man". The lousiest of the best, the best of the worst.
