The flower shop in Minneapolis called Bachman's- which I drove by roughly one million times in my childhood- has taken pains to say "no relation" to a certain wild-eyed Congresswoman.
Also, there's a John Wayne Gacy angle. Of course there is.
Of all her many gaffes, this is the one that is most likely to reach legendary status.
But what I want to know is where she got this "fact." Her independent research? A staffer? And did she or a staffer see John Wayne Gacy, and assume it could only mean John Wayne was a stage name? So many more questions.
