This piece asks a question I've been asking for awhile- why does Roman Polanski get a pass that Jerry Sandusky does not? Why aren't people like Polanski and R. Kelly permanent pariahs the way Sandusky is? The answer, I think, is obvious- molesting girls is somehow treated as just a bit more forgivable than molesting boys.
