A COUPLE MORE THOUGHTS ON

A COUPLE MORE THOUGHTS ON SUPER BOWL COMMERCIALS: That "Shards o' Glass" thing was a lot funnier back when Dan Aykroyd did it in 1977.
Likewise, the dog-bites-guy's-genitals bit was about one-tenth as funny as the same plot going on on the concurrent episode of "Curb Your Enthusiasm." In fact, Bud's spots were all pretty much lacking- don't these people know that hot girls don't everget carded? And that no guy in history has ever been mobbed by women just for being the designated driver? And isn't whoever decided to name a commercial "Horny Talking Monkey" destined for eternal damnation?
Speaking of which, how can Pepsi imply an endorsement from Jimi Hendrix, who died in 1971? And since we know he didn't really choose to play guitar based on the location of a Coke machine, what's the point of the ad?
And the volleyball babes in the snow? More titillating than the Janet thing, if you ask me.
Get a second look at all of 'em here.
