Run Him Out of Town on a Rall

A barely literate cartoon insulting a heroic soldier who was recently killed- and whaddya know, the cartoon runs on the day said soldier is buried. Who but Ted Rall?

As Mel Gibson said about Frank Rich, "I want to kill him. I want his intestines on a stick; I want to kill his dog."

I disagree with the "barely literate" criticism; you may not agree with Rall's points, but his perspective is a legitimate one. Dismissing his views because you disagree with them is sloppy discourse.

In the original post (before my computer crashed) I wrote "illegible," which is probably more fair, since Rall's cartoons are so shoddily drawn that I can never tell who he's supposed to be lampooning.

As for his perspective being legitimate, I'm sorry, I can't assign that phrase to a cartoon that puts the phrase "will I get to kill Arabs?" in Pat Tillman's mouth.

Yeesh. If he were alive, I'm sure Pat Tillman would get a laugh out of it. You're not doing him any favors by canonizing him.

Tasteless attempt at making a political point. His style of "drawing" seems to be taken from Hans Bjordahl's "Where the buffalo roam"
