In other news, the Milwaukee Brewers have been sold. A week ago Bud Selig controlled two franchises; now he controls none.

Posted by: Jeff S at September 29, 2004 12:41 AMAs much as it makes me happy to see baseball return to DC, "Washington Expos" just sounds stupid and meaningless. I suppose there would have to be yet another massive payout involved in buying the Senators name from the Rangers.
