The Super Bowl

I'll save full comment for my NYPress column, but glad to see that I picked both the Steelers to win, and Willie Parker to score the winning touchdown. The Steelers have great fans and they deserved to win one. Still, a game that was played, coached, and officiated terribly by just about everyone.

ABC just butchered the sound for the half-time show. I like the Stones, and even I had to stop watching at times because it sounded so bad.

I did find humor in two things.
1) In Motown, the half-time show didn't feature a motown artist.
2) Jagger's acknowledgement that the Stones are so old that they could have played Super Bowl 1, and still probably rocked the house!

The halftime show sucked. There indeed should have been some motown, but I guess the national anthem was part of that. And that one play with the line, I am unsure about that???
